Posted By Dean Gough, Wednesday, November 29, 2017
Hello, my name is Dean Gough and I am a new member of honor society.org that was invited to apply for the 2018 Chapter Leader position at East Carolina University. I feel very honored to be able to apply to this position. I am currently working on my Masters Degree in Criminal Justice at East Carolina University. I currently have a 4.0 grade point average and I am also a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society. I currently work as the Security Supervisor for College of the Albemarle's RATTC Campus.I have been working for College of the Albemarle for about 10 years now and I really enjoy working at COA. After I complete my Masters Degree, I would like to work for the federal government or the state in the field of Criminal Justice. I also would like to be an instructor at a community college or university in the field of criminal justice. Some of the organizations I am interested in working for are the FBI,DEA,ICE,US Customs and Border Patrol,TSA,NSA,NGA,DIA,Secret Service,National Park Service,Department of Justice, and the Department of Homeland Security. I am a first generation college student and I have big plans and dreams for myself. My mom, who died last October 18,2016 of heart failure, always told me to go for my dreams and reach for the stars. My mom was always my biggest fan and I miss her very much everyday. I would like to thank the honor society for considering me as a candidate for the chapter leader position. I think it is a wonderful opportunity and I know I would be a great leader. As Milton Berle once said," if opportunity does not knock, build a door." Don't ever give up on your dreams, if you work hard enough, they will come true. Thank You, for considering me as a candidate for this position, Sincerly, Dean Gough, Graduate Student at East Carolina University and honor society.org member
